Every service at Verge Atelier follows the same structural approach regardless of the job type. Scope is agreed at intake, work is carried out within that scope, and a written output is produced at completion. This process does not change whether the job is a battery replacement or a detailed condition report for a private sale.
The studio does not undertake work outside the three defined services. This is not a limitation of equipment or skill — it is a deliberate boundary that keeps the quality of each service consistent. When a client brings in a watch that requires a full mechanical overhaul, the studio says so directly and suggests where to take it.

Corporate Gifting Preparation
Engraving coordination, presentation setup and pre-delivery checks for watches given as company gifts. A calm, behind-the-scenes service for HR and procurement teams. The studio manages the details so that each watch arrives at its recipient in proper order — function verified, presentation considered and any engraving executed to brief.
Batches of any size are handled with individual tracking per unit. The studio provides a consolidated intake record and a delivery note that simplifies internal reconciliation for finance and procurement.

Quartz Care & Seal Check
Cell replacement, gasket inspection and a water-resistance pressure check for everyday quartz watches. A tidy routine service that keeps a daily watch dependable through the seasons. In Bangkok's climate, gasket condition matters more than in drier cities — humidity and heat degrade seals faster, and a failed gasket is not always visible before moisture has entered the case.
The pressure check after each gasket inspection is not optional in this service. It is included as standard because a gasket replacement without a subsequent pressure test provides incomplete information about the watch's actual water resistance.

Typical Timeline
Most quartz care visits are completed within 60 to 90 minutes. The pressure test requires a brief settling period after the gasket is seated. Walk-in appointments are welcome; a prior message helps the studio set aside the appropriate time.

Pre-Owned Inspection
A clear written condition report covering movement health, case integrity and likely service needs. Helpful for buyers and sellers who want an honest, neutral assessment before a private sale. The report is formatted to be shared between parties in a transaction, providing a common reference point that does not depend on either side's subjective impression of the watch.
Verge Atelier does not buy or sell watches. This distinguishes the studio's inspection service from assessments offered by dealers with a commercial interest in the transaction outcome. The report reflects what the watch is, not what either party would prefer it to be.

- Movement health — amplitude, accuracy deviation, regulation note if needed
- Case and crystal condition — scratches, dents, polish history where visible
- Dial and hands — condition, originality observations, lume condition
- Bracelet or strap — wear, clasp function, sizing markers
- Service interval note — plain-language guidance on recommended next steps
- Intake photographs attached to the report
Typical Timeline
The inspection and report take 2 to 3 working days. The watch is photographed at intake and the report is written after examination is complete. Rush turnaround is not offered — the process requires the time it requires.
